2005 Retirement Contribution Maximums

The 2005 governement set retirement account contribitions are as follows:

• IRA (Traditional or Roth): $4,000
  • catch-up contribution: $500
• SIMPLE IRA: $10,000
  • catch-up contribution: $2,000
• 401k, 403b, 457b, SARSEP: $14,000
  • catch-up contribution: $4,000

The catch-up contribution applies to contributors over the age of 50.
